“Learn this by humble inquiry and by service”
— Bhagavad Gita 4.34 (interpretation)

The Sanskrit word for this kind of questioning is pariprashna: asking out of real curiosity. In the Gita, asking good questions is named as one of the ways knowledge is deepened. Yoga is meant to be tested in your own body and understood personally, not just accepted.

So ask me anything. About a class, an injury, what breathing does to your nervous system, or whether yoga is for you at all. No question is too basic.
